WWE Star Blasts Kofi Kingston Following Raw Exchange

The New Day (Kofi Kingston & Xavier Woods) again found themselves at the center of negativity on WWE Raw, even taking a dig at Zelina Vega.

Attempting to address the WWE fans on the December 30 episode, they’d be constantly cut off with Jey Uso unable to bring order to the proceedings which led to the familiar “New Day sucks” chant.

Uso would eventually concede that he has one thing to say to Kingston and Woods, considering they go way back, confirming that New Day does, indeed, suck.

Footage from the exchange between Uso and The New Day can be seen below this news story, with Drew McIntyre later attacking Uso and a match between the pair being announced for next week’s WWE Raw.

This wouldn’t be all we saw from New Day on last night’s WWE Raw with Woods and Kingston going on to confront the LWO later in the night.

In a backstage segment later in the show, Rey Mysterio offered support to Otis following his loss to Chad Gable.

Woods and Kingston would appear to mock Mysterio who recently prevented New Day from entering the locker room.

The New Day would mock Mysterio’s status as locker room leader with the WWE Hall of Famer demanding a match with New Day.

Woods would ask if his LWO “Rey Mysterio cosplaying cronies” would be teaming up with him in this proposed match.

Kingston would take things a step further, referring to Zelina Vega as the “kid with the 12-inch boots” as can be seen below this news story.

Vega has since reacted to Kingston’s words with what can only be described as a savage burn, tweeting:

“They are 6 inches.. not that you know what that looks like @TrueKofi @wwe”

Woods would accept Mysterio’s challenge of a match, going on to say that they would see each other soon.

At the time of writing, a tag team partner for Mysterio hasn’t been named, nor has a date for the match.
