The July 29 episode of WWE Raw saw a six-woman tag team match that left one competitor bloodied with medical staff attending to her.
Last night’s episode of WWE Raw pitched the team of Lyra Valkyria, Kayden Carter and Katana Chance against Sonya Deville, Zoey Stark and Shayna Baszler.
With Deville, Stark and Baszler victorious, Damage CTRL would make their return with Dakota Kai, Iyo Sky and Kairi Sane, as can be seen below this news story.
The return of Damage CTRL seemed to suggest that the former heels were now very much on the babyface side of the story.
At some point during the six-woman tag team match, however, Katana Chance got a bit bloodied, with Kayden Carter sharing backstage footage which can also be seen below.
The footage was shared on Instagram, with Carter saying:
“Brah, I’m sick and tired of you hurting my best friend.
“I’m so sick of y’all messing her up.
“Dude, you’re such a G, brah. You are a fricking G.
“You’re a f**king beast, dude.”
In the background, Chance would be attended to by medical staff who were focusing on her nose with one saying:
“Is it moving? Oh god, F**k.”
After having her nose attended to, Chance would seem to ask if she could touch her nose, with the medical professional once again applying pressure to the region.
The video suggests that Chance may have suffered a broken nose during the match, though this is yet to be officially confirmed.
WrestleTalk will provide updates as they emerge and wishes Chance well on her recovery.
