Following WWE SummerSlam 2024 weekend, it has emerged that a WWE star’s boyfriend attended tryouts for the company.
During SummerSlam week in Cleveland, the company held its latest round of tryouts looking for new talent.
A number of athletes from different sports and aspiring wrestlers took part in the event with Shawn Michaels and stars of the promotion looking on, such as CM Punk, whose presence was confirmed in videos posted by WWE.
In a detailed thread listing all of the athletes who took part from @lexveraux on Twitter, it was revealed that WWE star Katana Chance’s boyfriend attended the tryout for the company.
Naoufal Abouelhouda was noted as being a a crossfitter, athletic trainer and ‘business associate’. He is also the significant other of former WWE Women’s Tag Team Champion Katana Chance.
It remains to be seen if Abouelhouda received a deal from WWE at the time of this writing.
Also included in the thread, Elijah Holyfield, son of legendary boxer Evander Holyfield, took part in the Cleveland 2024 tryouts as well.
