A WWE star has broken their silence after losing their championship on this week’s episode of NXT (August 13).
After holding the WWE NXT Tag Team Championships for 126 days Axiom and Nathan Frazer dropped the gold to Chase U’s Andre Chase and Ridge Holland on Tuesday’s show.
After weeks of teased dissension between Axiom and Frazer, it was perhaps fitting that that loss came as a result of miscommunication between the two, allowing Chase and Holland to capture their first titles as a pair.
With Frazer already reacting to the loss on social media, it was now Axiom’s turn – however, unlike his partner the Spanish star would post a message in reflection of what the title reign meant to him.
Axiom wrote on Twitter:
During NXT Black and Gold these were the titles that made me fall in love with Tag Team wrestling. It was truly an honour to defend them.
