A WWE star has broken her silence after losing to her former tag team partner at last night’s WWE NXT Deadline premium live event.
After The Culling’s devastating betrayal of Tatum Paxley at WWE NXT Gold Rush Week One two weeks ago, former tag team partners Tatum Paxley and Izzi Dame squared off one-on-one during NXT Deadline.
With Shawn Spears and Niko Vance at ringside, Paxley’s emotions were taken advantage of by her former stablemates – with Dame at one point offering a hug to Tatum before throwing her into the steel steps. Then, in the closing stages, Spears pulled the head off Paxley’s doll, which caused enough of a distraction for Izzi Dame to take advantage and secure the win.
Now, for the first time since her loss, Paxley has taken to Twitter to convey her heartbreak over the demise of her relationship with Dame.
She wrote:
You know I really did love you
Unsurprisingly Izzi Dame had little sympathy for Tatum in her response on Twitter, writing:
You don’t ignore people you love… this is all your fault.
Elsewhere on WWE NXT Deadline, Oba Femi defeated Ricky Saints to become a two-time NXT Champion, whilst also earning a match against Cody Rhodes at Saturday Night’s Main Event.
Then, in the closing moments of the show, Tony D’Angelo made his return to WWE NXT following a five month absence – click here for full details.
