WWE/TNA
A current WWE star has called out a number of legendary TNA wrestlers following their victory on WWE television.
On last night’s episode of WWE NXT, Kelani Jordan defended her TNA Knockout’s Championship against Jordynne Grace, who was looking to capture the title for the fourth time.
However, Kelani would end up turning heel at the end of the match, hitting Jordynne with the championship during a chaotic brawl at ringside between Ricky Saints and Trick Williams.
After the match, Kelani has taken to Twitter, with her calling out more legendary TNA Knockouts from TNA’s past and present, including Gail Kim, Mickie James and Awesome Kong.
She wrote:
One Knockouts “Legend” down, who’s next??
@MickieJames? @gailkimITSME? @RealTSteelz? @theodbbam? @VelVelHoller? @ActualALove? @MeanQueenK?
Velvet Sky, Angelina Love and Mickie James, who were all challenged by Kelani, were inducted into the TNA Hall of Fame at this year’s Bound For Glory pay-per-view event.
Kelani represented TNA in the Team NXT vs Team TNA elimination match at Showdown, though Team NXT picked up the victory, with Sol Ruca and Jacy Jayne picking up the win for the team.
