A WWE NXT star looks set to challenge for a top TNA Wrestling Championship after tonight’s episode of Impact.
The NXT/TNA Wrestling crossovers are continuing into 2025 following the big announcement of an official partnership between WWE and TNA.
Tonight’s episode of TNA Impact featured numerous NXT talents, one of which looks set for a TNA title match soon.
Making her TNA in-ring debut on tonight’s show was NXT’s Cora Jade, who picked up a win against Hyan.
After the match, Jade laid out Xia Brookside before Knockouts Champion Masha Slamovich came out to make the save.
This isn’t the first encounter Jade and Slamovich have had, as Slamovich was shown in the crowd during a recent episode of WWE NXT watching one of Jade’s matches.
It obviously looks like a match is being set up between them, likely for Slamovich’s title, but no date or details are announced as of yet.
Tonight’s episode of TNA Impact also featured NXT’s Wes Lee, accompanied by Tyson DuPont and Tyriek Igwe, with Lee picking up a win against Ace Austin.
As Lee, DuPont and Igwe attacked Austin post-match, The Rascalz – Trey Miguel and Zach Wentz – came out to make the save.
Tessa Blanchard also had a tense backstage confrontation with NXT’s Arianna Grace, who has been appearing in TNA regularly for months now as the ‘liaison’ between the two brands.
