WWE Star Challenges Beth Phoenix To Match

A current WWE SmackDown star has challenged Hall of Famer Beth Phoenix to have one more match after calling Phoenix one of her favourite opponents.

It’s no secret that Phoenix and Natalya are good friends, having been veterans in WWE and two of the best (and only) actual wrestlers throughout the Divas era.

Speaking in a recent Q&A, Natalya said:

“I’ve wrestled her once and one time only, but Beth Phoenix was one of my favorite opponents of all time. There is only one Glamazon, and she truly is amazing, and I can’t wait; I can’t wait for the opportunity, one day, for the Glamazon to come back, and I’m basically challenging Beth Phoenix to come back. I’m calling you out of retirement, Glamazon; I’m calling Beth Phoenix out of retirement because I want to challenge her to a match. Glamazon, that was an official challenge to you.”

The two actually teamed together at WrestleMania 35 in 2019 in the four-way Women’s Tag Team Championship match. The only match Phoenix has been in since then was the 2020 Royal Rumble this past January, during which she actually eliminated Natalya herself.
