Logan Paul is set to face Roman Reigns at WWE Crown Jewel on November 5, but an NXT star has his sights set on Logan’s brother Jake Paul.
On next week’s October 18 edition of NXT, Channing ‘Stacks’ Lorenzo is set to face a mystery opponent of his boss Tony D’Angelo’s choosing.
Stacks has actually decided to call someone out himself, tweeting:
“Give me the less famous Paul bro…@jakepaul”
Well, I think it’s safe to say Jake Paul will not be showing up on NXT, but it would damn sure be a way to stick it to AEW Dynamite, which is running head-to-head against NXT next Tuesday.
WWE is trying to bolster that NXT show with a number of main roster names due to the AEW head-to-head, and Stacks’ opponent may well end up being one of those.
The other main roster involvement in next week’s NXT will be:
- Sonya Deville, who will be facing Alba Fyre
- An opponent from the SmackDown roster for Cora Jade chosen by Roxanne Perez
- An opponent from the Raw roster for Roxanne Perez chosen by Cora Jade
- Two partners chosen by Cameron Grimes to team with him against Joe Gacy, Rip Fowler and Jagger Reid
