WWE star Charlotte Flair took to Twitter to react to Paige issuing an announcement that she will be leaving WWE effective early next month.
Keeping the message short and sweet, Charlotte wrote “Thank you woman” with a red heart emoji.
Sonya Deville, who was formerly a member of Absolution along with Paige and Mandy Rose, tweeted “Thank you ‘mom’ #Legend”. Rose extended the same message.
Paige has discussed in the past her desire to return to the ring which was also alluded to in the farewell message, leading to exciting possibilities for the former Paige, now going by her given name Saraya, in the future.
Queen Zelina had a heartfelt message, Tweeting:
Truly a legendary talent and person. I don’t think she’ll ever know the incredible impact that she’s had on people like me and so many others. My initial opportunity to work in a WWE ring was due to HER story. Honored to call her a friend. This will ALWAYS be.. her house. ilysm”
Paige recently posted about his sadness at being away from the ring as fans noted just yesterday that it had been 811 days since appeared on WWE television.
We’ll continue to update you on reactions to the announcement throughout the evening as well as whether or not WWE will address the announcement on tonight’s episode of SmackDown.
