A WWE star has been officially cleared to return to in-ring action, and is set for a match for their former championship.
Ahead of NXT Halloween Havoc, NXT Women’s North American Champion and Women’s Speed Champion Sol Ruca announced that she had suffered an injury ahead of her North American Championship match with Blake Monroe.
In her place, Zaria stepped in to defend Sol’s title, with her coming up short and losing the match to Blake.
Sol would also end up vacating the Women’s Speed Championship due to injury, with a tournament taking place to crown the new champion, the finals of which will take place at Gold Rush next week.
On tonight’s WWE NXT show, Sol Ruca and Zaria met with Ava in her office, where Ava confirmed that Sol had now been cleared to compete, but warned Sol of the risk of her rushing back into the ring.
Sol insisted that she wanted to return to the ring next week, and is set to face off against Blake Monroe for the NXT Women’s North American Championship.
"I want my title back next week."
