WWE Star Fires Shot At CM Punk

Current WWE NXT star has been the talk of wrestling Twitter the past few days.

The Epitome of Excellence shared a video to Twitter on Monday night, seemingly showing him getting the WWE logo tattooed on his chest.

Edris followed up the tweet with a second video where he teased revealing the tattoo, but said that we should tune into NXT to see it.

This week’s (as well as next week’s) episodes of the show were pre-taped, so obviously he had no tattoo on the show.

As the mystery rolls on regarding whether or not Edris actually has the WWE logo tattooed on him, he made a not so subtle shot at CM Punk.

He said:

There’s nothing wrong with getting branded tattoos!! I get a @WWE Tattoo and y’all wanna clown me..

Others get a Pepsi tattoo and y’all don’t say nothing.. okay

It’s still not 100% whether Edris has actually branded himself with the logo of his employer, or whether he’s just messing around with idiots like me online.

Well, consider myself invested in tattoogate, Edris. I look forward to seeing the ending.
