WWE Star Comments On Incredible Fan Reaction During Recent Story WWE

A WWE star has commented on the incredible fan reaction to them during a recent storyline on WWE television.

Earlier this year, Chad Gable turned heel following an Intercontinental Championship match defeat to Sami Zayn on Raw in Montreal.

What followed was many weeks of Gable berating his Alpha Academy trainees Otis, Akira Tozawa and Maxxine Dupri, with Otis being the primary target of his aggression.

Otis would eventually shove Gable to the floor on the June 17 episode of Raw, with the fans cheering loudly as Otis rebelled against his former mentor.

Speaking to Chris Van Vliet on Insight, Otis recalled his reaction to the fan reaction to him that night.

He said:

“Oh yeah. In my words, in Gorilla, I go, ‘I’m so f*cking hard right now.’ [Laughs] It was the coolest s**t, and there’s still a lot of story there too. It’s just one of those things organically, me and Gable, we don’t have to talk much about how we’re gonna do it, if that makes sense.

“It’s kind of like he knows how I would react. He’s seen me pissed, he’s seen me cry, he’s seen me all this stuff, so he knows what I gotta do to kind that switch on because again, it kind of was funny because everyone’s like, ‘Make sure you look serious,’ and I’m going, ‘Guys, you ever see me get pissed off in real life?’ Pretty scary. [Laughs] It’s not hard to get pissed. Usually I’m pretty chill.”

Many fans were left deflated by Otis’ shove on Gable, believing that his attack on him should have been more severe, and Otis himself has revealed he shared the same sentiment.

He added:

“I remember going, ‘Is the push enough?’ I was like, let’s try it out. Because I’m thinking club him, slam him.”
