A WWE star has commented after this week saw them kick a member out of their faction and cost them championship gold.
The main event of this past Tuesday’s WWE NXT Gold Rush saw Jacy Jayne win the NXT Women’s Championship back from Tatum Paxley.
Jayne’s win came after The Culling betrayed Paxley, with Izzi Dame attacking her.
With Paxley’s short-lived run with The Culling officially over, the original leader of the group, Shawn Spears, has commented.
Posting a picture of the group’s current lineup – himself, Dame and Niko Vance – Spears simply wrote:
“We feel so much lighter….”
Over time, Spears has taken something of a backseat with Izzi Dame taking on more of a leader role for the group, with Spears and Vance usually competing as a tag team.
The Culling also originally featured Brooks Jensen before Dame made the decision to kick him out a few months ago as well.
Paxley had been NXT Women’s Champion since Halloween Havoc on October 25, which mean her title reign goes down as the shortest of all time at 24 days.
That ‘record’ was previously held by Indi Hartwell at 31 days.
