A current WWE star has commented on being announced to receive an upcoming prestigious wrestling award in August.
Natalya re-signed with WWE last year, and she has recently begun taking part in numerous matches outside of the company under the name Natalya Neidhart.
Natalya recently competed for GCW’s Bloodsport, as well as for the NWA, and she has now been announced to receive an upcoming award.
Today, the Cauliflower Alley Club announced that Natalya is set to receive the Lou Thesz Award at this year’s reunion, making her the first female wrestler to ever receive the award.
Commenting on the award, she said:
This is such a special honor to follow so many great people who have received this award before me. Wrestling has given me every single thing I have in my life, something I’ve never taken for granted. Being the first woman to receive The Lou Thesz award makes me excited to continue building in a business I love so much. Thank you, @CACReunion
