WWE Star Reveals COVID-Related Health Scare That Led To TV Absence WWE

A WWE star has revealed her COVID-related health scare that kept her off television.

Doudrop has been seen on WWE television since the September 6, 2022 edition of WWE NXT when she teamed with Nikki A.S.H. in a win over Toxic Attraction’s Gigi Dolin and Jacy Jayne.

As previously reported, the WWE star revealed the reason behind her absence in a reply to a fan on social media. However, she has now discussed it further in a new interview.

Speaking with Denise Salcedo of Instinct Culture, Doudrop opened up about her health scare. On possibly returning for the Royal Rumble, she said:

“I’ll be around. In what capacity? I’m not going to tell, but I’ll be around. I’ve had some time off to deal with a health scare that I had. Luckily, that’s all it was, it was just a scare. Everything was always great, sadly, I got COVID real bad.”

“The symptoms that I was having, they were concerned about my heart. God bless them, they took the best care of me, they got every test for my heart that they could muster, and every single one of them came back clean as a whistle. Much to some people’s annoyance, my heart is in excellent condition.”

It remains to be seen when Doudrop will return to the squared circle, but she is currently in San Antonio doing media ahead of this Saturday’s Royal Rumble 2023 event. For the full lineup for the show, click here.
