A WWE star is officially set to make their debut for another wrestling promotion during WrestleMania 41 week.
As is tradition with WrestleMania week, several independent promotions are holding events in Las Vegas, including GCW, who are set to hold the next instalment in their popular Bloodsport series of events on Thursday, April 17.
On March 4 it was announced that WWE Raw star Natalya would be making her GCW debut at Bloodsport XIII, but it turns out she won’t be the only star from the red brand to compete at the event.
As announced by Josh Barnett on Twitter, The Bruiserweight Pete Dunne will also be making his GCW debut at Bloodsport XIII.
Commenting on Dunne’s appearance, Barnett wrote:
A “Strong Style” Englishman, from the tough, industrial city of Birmingham.
He has no problem trading blows or submission holds – wherever the fight goes, this “Bruiserweight” wrestler is up for it.
Pete Dunne is coming to Josh Barnett’s: Bloodsport XIII.
Dunne and Natalya join a growing list of WWE stars to compete at Bloodsport, with Karmen Petrovic, Myles Borne, Charlie Dempsey and Shayna Baszler among the names to appear in previous instalments.
