A new WWE star has debuted as an existing partnership has seemingly expanded into a faction in the pursuit of championship gold.
Tonight on NXT, Shawn Spears and Brooks Jensen once again met up with NXT North American Champion Tony D’Angelo.
The exchange ended in a North American Title match between D’Angelo and Jensen being set up before Spears and Jensen left.
As they got in a car outside, Spears said:
“That’s how you deal with the boss… isn’t that right, Niko?”
“Niko”, who was in the driver’s seat of the car, replied “yes it is”, before turning around to reveal himself as Niko Vance.
Vance, real name Skylor Clinton, recently debuted on WWE Main Event and NXT Level Up, although he has been around in NXT for a while and has been seen in numerous segments as a ‘background’ character, such as a security guard.
Elsewhere on tonight’s NXT in D’Angelo Family news, Adriana Rizzo lost her match against Nikkita Lyons, but smashed Lyons with a crowbar afterwards to end the segment standing tall.
