WWE Star Says They Were Involved In Dune Buggy Accident Ahead Of Crown Jewel 2024

A WWE star has said that they were involved in a dune buggy accident days prior to Crown Jewel 2024 in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.

Ahead of his match with Randy Orton, Cathy Kelley caught up with Kevin Owens during the WWE Crown Jewel Countdown Show, giving the Prizefighter some rare time with a live microphone following his attacks on both Orton and Cody Rhodes in recent weeks.

During his backstage interview Owens revealed that he and Cathy Kelley were involved in a dune buggy accident, in which they flipped over “several times”.

When recounting the incident Owens claimed that either Orton or Cody Rhodes paid off the driver of the buggy to intentionally crash, citing the ongoing conspiracy against him in WWE.

Owens said:

“Two days ago we got here in Saudi Arabia and we’re told ‘Hey we’ve got some great activities lined up in the desert, go out and enjoy yourself’. And what happened? We got into a dune buggy and we flipped, we rolled over several times.

“We were in a car accident two days ago and you know why? Because I have no doubt that driver was paid off by Randy Orton or Cody Rhodes to make that happen. Because everyone is against me, do you know that?

“Everyone is against me, ever since I attacked the little golden boy Cody Rhodes. ‘Oh no you can’t touch Cody’, ‘Not Cody’, but I did and he deserved it.

“None of this is my fault, so tonight they’re making me do something I don’t want to do they’re making me fight my friend Randy Orton. I loved Randy Orton. Randy what happens tonight is your fault.”

Both Big E and Corey Graves would corroborate the story on the Countdown panel, saying they witnessed the accident first-hand. However, there is not yet further information to confirm that Owens’ comments were not simply made to further his ongoing WWE storyline.
