WWE Star & ECW Legend Bond Backstage After Surprise Return

The November 6 episode of WWE NXT saw its fair share of ECW legends return to the 2300 Arena in Philadelphia.

Among those to make an appearance were the Dudley Boyz as Bubba Ray teamed with Trick Williams to take on Ethan Page and Ridge Holland.

Bubba Ray would later react to his first WWE match in eight years which saw him reunited with D-Von Dudley post match.

Elsewhere on the show, Dawn Marie was the special guest referee for the hardcore match between Jaida Parker vs Lola Vice and RVD made his mark after suffering an attack at the hands of Wes Lee.

It didn’t stop there, either, with Nunzio challenging Tony D’Angelo for the NXT North American Championship and Rhyno taking exception to Robert Stone among the appearances.

With Stevie Turner and Robert Stone on hand for Ava’s announcement of the return of WWE NXT Deadline, Stone took the opportunity to run down the Philadelphia fans in attendance at the 2300 Arena.

As can be seen below this news story, Stone would be interrupted by the arrival of Rhyno who went on to deliver a Gore.

With Turner fireman carrying Stone backstage after the Gore, she would implore that he stop making enemies before being asked for a quick word by the backstage interviewer, as can be seen below this news story.

Unceremoniously dumping Stone on a container, Turner was asked about what happened in the ring, saying:

“Honestly, Blake, I’m not lying to you when I say I had absolutely nothing to do with that. Did I enjoy it, though? 100%”

ECW legend Steve Corino would then appear, asking if Stone’s predicament was caused by Rhyno, with the NXT star confirming this to be the case.

Corino would then turn his attention to Turner, calling her “Steve” to which she replied by calling him “Steve”, too.

The pair would shake hands which led to Turner saying they should be friends, something that Corino was really happy about.

With Corino saying that Turner was his favorite part on NXT, they’d leave Stone bewildered, frustrated and still very much in pain.
