A WWE star hilarious attempted to hit Randy Orton with an ‘RKO Outta Nowhere’ prior to SmackDown, which didn’t go too well for them.
Randy’s finishing move has become iconic due to his ability to hit the move from out of nowhere, but obviously the man himself knows the best counters to the move.
WWE’s Johnny Gargano took to Twitter today, where he shared a video of himself and DIY tag team partner Tommaso Ciampa prior to SmackDown.
Ciampa noted that he thought Orton was ‘stupid’, before stating that he was going to hit him with an RKO of his own.
Ciampa proceeded to sneak up on Orton while he was on the phone, leaping off the steps to hit him with the move, before Orton simply sidestepped, sending Ciampa crashing to the floor.
Randy Orton made his return to SmackDown on last week’s show, saving Kevin Owens from an attack at the hands of the Bloodline.
DIY are seemingly in line for a shot at the WWE Tag Team Championship held by Grayson Waller and Austin Theory.
