A WWE star has broken character to pitch for their legendary father to be inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame.
Former AEW star Brian Pillman Jr departed the company last year, before going on to sign with WWE, joining the NXT brand as Lexis King back at Halloween Havoc last year.
Since joining WWE, Lexis King’s relationship with Pillman has been mentioned numerous times on commentary, as well as recent new merchandise for both he and his father being created.
When the question was posed as to whether or not Brian Pillman deserves to be inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame, King responded, breaking his Lexis King character to respond as ‘Pillman Jr‘.
He wrote:
Just speaking as Pillman Jr. here for a moment.
This is all I ever wanted. My goal from day one in wrestling has always been to bring enough attention to the Pillman name, to remind us all of this legendary performer so that he could take his rightful spot in the hall of fame.
