WWE Star Gets Engaged

Congratulations are in order for WWE Raw star Lyra Valkyria following the announcement of her engagement to her long-time partner.

The news was announced by Valkyria’s partner CJ Cleary – an Irish independent wrestler perhaps most well known for competing for many top promotions in Ireland and the UK as well as Japan, most recently for Pro Wrestling NOAH.

Taking to Instagram, Clearly posted two images of Valkyria sporting an engagement ring along with the following heartfelt announcement message:

Yes 💚

10 years together celebrated by getting engaged to the person I will be spending the rest of my life with, and she is the love of mine 💚

Valkyria and Cleary both began their careers on the Irish independent scene in the mid-2010s, competing for the likes of Celtic Championship Wrestling, Fight Factory Pro Wrestling and Over The Top Wrestling.

Valkyria would later sign with WWE in 2020, enjoying a successful stint on NXT UK and later NXT, where she would capture the brand’s Women’s Championship by defeating Becky Lynch in October 2023.
