A current champion in WWE has admitted that they ‘get the ick’ when hearing their entrance music after a recent change.
Current Women’s United States Champion Chelsea Green recently saw a change made to her entrance music in the company, with the previous intro of the song replaced with Samantha Irvin’s voice announcing her.
However, after Samantha’s departure from WWE, the intro was changed once again, this time with Chelsea recording her own introduction for the song to imitate Samantha’s call.
Speaking to Metro UK, Chelsea admitted that she ‘gets the ick’ when she hears her recorded intro for the song due to hating hearing her own voice.
She said:
“When they told me I had to re-record my entrance theme and I had to do the ‘Chelsea Green,’ that’s something you will now be hearing on Friday nights, and that is very cringe-worthy. Anyone who gets the ick, just know I got the ick first while I was recording.
“Every time in my entrance, I still am like, ‘Oh, I hate that’. It’s my voice, but that’s just me. I can’t watch myself. I can’t listen to myself. That is just totally a me problem. I should probably go to therapy for that.”
