Report: WWE Star Gigi Dolin Suffers Concussion

On last week’s episode of SmackDown, the Toxic Attraction duo of Gigi Dolin and Jacy Jayne made their WWE main roster debut, replacing Nikkita Lyons and Zoey Stark in the Women’s Tag Team Championship Tournament.

Dolin and Jayne defeated the team of Natalya and Shayna Baszler, and looked to be heading into a semi-final match against Raquel Rodriguez and Aliyah, but following an injury to Dolin, this won’t be happening.

Speaking on Wrestling Observer Radio, Dave Meltzer revealed Gigi Dolin is the latest WWE star to suffer a concussion, and this is the reason she and Jacy Jayne will be unable to compete further in the tournament.

He said:

“Concussion, she’s out, and as far as what happens from there, if they’re gonna be brought up (to the main roster) or not, we shall see. They were gonna be on the show tonight, Gigi and Jacy were gonna be on the show tonight doing something to promote Friday, and they were pulled from the tournament due to the injury.”

Hopefully the concussion doesn’t keep Dolin out for long, as a lot of people are tipping Toxic Attraction as potential big stars of the future.

This also came just a few days after Zoey Stark had reportedly suffered a concussion against Mandy Rose on NXT last week, which is why she was pulled from SmackDown to begin with.
