WWE NXT star Damon Kemp has taken to social media to announce that he is no longer under contract with WWE.
He tweeted:
As of today I am no longer under contract with WWE. Forever grateful for the people I met and the experiences I’ve had. For business inquiries – damonkempmgmt@gmail.com
Kemp was notably a member of the No Quarter Catch Crew faction in NXT with Charlie Dempsey, Myles Borne and recent addition Tavion Heights.
He’s also the real-life brother of Gable Steveson, who was let go from WWE a few months ago.
Kemp, real name Bobby Steveson, signed with WWE in August 2021 in the same class as Bodhi Hayward, Malik Blade, Tiffany Stratton, Brooks Jensen and Solo Sikoa.
His name often came up as someone who was praised behind the scenes as having a lot of potential to be a star, especially with how well he picked up pro-wrestling compared to his brother who was said to have struggled adapting from amateur wrestling.
Kemp was not present recently when Dempsey, Borne and Heights all appeared at TNA Wrestling tapings.
