WWE Star Aspiring To Be More Hated Than Dominik Mysterio

A top WWE star has said that they are aspiring to be a more hated heel than Dominik Mysterio in the company.

AJ Styles returned to WWE after several months away back in December, when he immediately turned heel with an attack on LA Knight.

AJ went on to face off with Knight at WrestleMania, and has seen himself become a more serious version of himself ahead of his recent WWE Championship match with Cody Rhodes at Backlash.

AJ has changed his theme song and attire following the turn, but he doesn’t plan on ending it there, as he hopes to one day be as hated as Dominik Mysterio.

Speaking to Sports Illustrated, he said:

“As bad, ugly, and mean as a heel is supposed to be, I’m going to be that guy. When I step into an arena, I want more boos than Dominik Mysterio. That’s what I’m after. That’s my job, and I want to do it better than anybody.”

Styles was eliminated in the 2024 King of the Ring tournament by Randy Orton on last week’s SmackDown show.
