With WrestleMania week upon us, many big matches are set to take place across many different promotions over the next seven days.
One such match will take place at NXT Stand & Deliver, when Johnny Gargano makes his return to the NXT brand to take on Grayson Waller in an Unsanctioned match.
Waller appeared at last night’s NXT live event in Sanford, Florida, where he cut a promo on his upcoming match with Gargano, promising to hurt him infront of his wife and son.
He said:
“Johnny, next week at Stand & Deliver, I just want you to know that I don’t want to steal the show with you. I don’t want to have a five-star classic like you had in the past. I don’t even want to beat you, Johnny. I want to hurt you.
“I want to embarrass you and I want to make you regret the day that you came back here to ‘NXT.’ And I want to do it in front of all of these people who love you. The ones who chant ‘Johnny Wrestling’, ‘we are NXT’ huh.
“I wanna do it infront of them, I want to do it infront of your best friend Vic Joseph, I want him to stand right there and see the pain I put you through. I wanna do it infront of your wife Candice (LeRae), I wanna do it infront of your son Quill, because I want them to see their husband, I want them to see their father regret the day that he messed with Grayson Waller.
“So Tuesday, stay out the building, I’ll sign the contract, but just know the moment the pen goes to paper, that is the catalyst for the worst day of your life.”
Waller will appear on next week’s episode of NXT to sign the contract for the Unsanctioned match with Gargano at NXT Stand & Deliver.
Gargano will be appearing on the show 24 hours after taking part in the Andre the Giant Memorial Battle Royal on WrestleMania SmackDown.
