WWE Star Injured Before WrestleMania 41 Match

WWE Star Injured Before WrestleMania 41 Match WWE

A WWE star has seemingly picked up an injury ahead of his match set for WrestleMania 41 night one tomorrow night, April 19.

On tonight’s pre-Mania SmackDown, there was six-man tag team match with Rey Mysterio, Dragon Lee and Rey Fenix teaming up against American Made’s Chad Gable and the Creed Brothers.

During the course of the match, Mysterio was done on the outside being attended to by WWE’s doctor Chris Amann.

Mysterio stayed down on the outside with Amann by his side as the other five men finished the match without him, with Dragon Lee and Fenix winning despite what had become a numbers disadvantage.

After they win, they both immediately got out of the ring to check on Mysterio. Mysterio was then carried to the back.

Mysterio is set for a singles match against El Grande Americano (Chad Gable) on WrestleMania night one.

We’ll keep you posted if this issue leads to a change to the match, and with any further updates on the nature and severity of the injury.

WWE has already had to change one WrestleMania 41 match due to an injury over the past couple of weeks, with Randy Orton now issuing an open challenge instead of his planned match against Kevin Owens.
