WWE Star Injured, Out For ‘Six To Nine Months’ WWE

On tonight’s WWE Raw, an important medical update was revealed as a rising star is set to be out of in-ring action for up to 9 months.

During a segment on tonight’s Raw, commentator Joe Tessitore revealed that over the weekend during a match with GUNTHER, Ilja Dragunov had been injured.

Tessitore noted that WWE medical has informed that Ilja Dragunov suffered a suspected torn ACL.

This means he’s expected to be out of action for somewhere between six and nine months.

Dragunov had a match against GUNTHER at the Saturday, September 28 live event in Columbus, Georgia.

The card for the following night’s live event in Huntsville, Alabama featured all the same matches as the Columbus show, but without that one taking place.

Everyone at WrestleTalk wishes all the best to Ilja Dragunov during his recovery from injury.
