WWE Star Confirms Injury In Recent Title Match WWE

A WWE star has taken to social media to confirm that she suffered a dental injury during a title match that took place earlier this week.

In one of three title matches that took place at WWE NXT New Year’s Evil on Tuesday, January 6, WWE Evolve Women’s Champion Kendal Grey attempted to dethrone Jacy Jayne for the NXT Women’s Title and continue her rapid rise in WWE.

Unfortunately for Grey her attempt to become a double champion was not a success, as following some crucial interference from Fatal Influence’s Fallon Henley, Jayne managed to retain her gold.

It wasn’t just a loss that Grey walked away from the match with however, as the 24-year-old also suffered a dental injury as well.

As revealed on Twitter, Grey confirmed she was having to get her “teeth fixed” after being on the receiving end of a brutal looking knee by Jayne during the match.

Promising some revenge for the injury, Grey wrote:

Fixing my teeth Thanks @jacyjaynewwe

Next time I get my hands on ya, this will be you instead…

Attached to the post was a picture of Grey in the dentist chair preparing for her procedure, she would then also share another picture of her getting the work done on her mouth.

While Jacy Jayne defended her title, New Year’s Evil did see a title change in the women’s division as Izzi Dame dethroned Thea Hail in an impromptu NXT Women’s North American Title match.
