WWE Star Injury Update After Announcing Time Off

Finn Balor has shared an update on injured WWE tag team partner JD McDonagh after he announced a leave of absence.

Taking to his Instagram Stories from his hospital bed on Monday, JD McDonagh announced that he will be taking some time off from WWE TV in order to “get put back together”, with the “Irish Ace” seemingly undergoing surgery on his hand based on a follow up post.

While it has not been confirmed exactly what McDonagh’s injury was, his tag team partner Finn Balor has shared an update on his Judgment Day partner after visiting him in hospital.

Taking to Twitter, Balor confirmed that JD is in “good spirits” and will make a full recovery:

I just got home this very second from checking on my dear friend @jd_mcdonagh & I can confirm that he is in good spirit’s & will make a full recovery

Balor was absent from Monday’s WWE Raw, with Dominik Mysterio telling fellow Judgment Day members Liv Morgan, Roxanne Perez and Liv Morgan that he was away to check up on JD following his injury.

It’s not clear what McDonagh’s return timeline is at present, but we will provide updates if more information becomes available.
