A top WWE star has said that the company should bring in new Women’s Secondary Championship as the division is now ‘stacked’.
WWE’s women’s division has seen an influx of new talent in recent years, and with the division already featuring a Tag Team Championship, fans have begun discussing a potential new women’s midcard championship.
The company has reportedly considered introducing new titles, and one WWE star believes that it would be a good addition to the company.
Speaking on Battleground podcast, Women’s Tag Team Champion Bianca Belair said that the division is ‘so stacked’ that another title could help highlight the division.
She said:
“I think we’re at a point in time where our roster is so stacked. Before you had, like, a few that were at the very, very top and they were out there every single show and having all of the matches, and now you kind of look at WrestleMania, a couple of months before, you kind of know, ‘This person’s going to be in ‘Mania.’
“I think our roster is at a time now where you don’t know who’s going to be at ‘Mania and everybody’s trying to fight for a spot on the card. I feel like another title would really highlight the true talent of our division.”
