WWE Star Is Now Assisting Adam Pearce On SmackDown

Tonight on WWE SmackDown, Adam Pearce has his hands full. Roman Reigns nearly decided to attack him. Even though he’s not the general manager, he apparently has just too many duties backstage.

So, he now has an assistant. Tonight, Sonya Deville revealed she would be assisting Adam Pearce at his job, whatever that job is.

Deville returned last week. She was just shown briefly on screen for about 30 seconds. She didn’t talk at all, but Corey Graves confirmed she had been reinstated.

Most expected something further would happen on the show, but it did not. So, fans had to wait a week to see how Deville would be used.

This has to be considered a bit of a letdown. Deville is very talented. She did address the fact that she’s had a terrible year. She talked about losing the match to her former best friend, but she promises to learn from Adam Pearce.

Deville will probably make the most of this role and it seems likely she’ll return to the ring at some point.
