WWE Star Issues Response To Fans After Controversial Match Finish WWE

A WWE star has issued a response to fans who have voiced their criticism regarding the controversial finish to a title match at TNA Bound for Glory 2025.

In one of six title matches on the card at TNA Bound for Glory, X-Division Champion Leon Slater defended his gold against WWE NXT’s Je’Von Evans.

The match was as fast-paced and exciting as fans expected it to be, with incredible athleticism displayed by both the “Youngest in Charge” and the “Young OG”.

After the match exceeded the 20 minute time limit, TNA Director of Authority Santino Marella ordered that an additional five minutes be added, in order to ensure to ensure that it see a clear victor.

That ultimately didn’t happen however, as former WWE NXT Tag Team Champions Darkstate interfered in the match shortly after it resumed, laying out both Evans and Slater and causing the match to be ruled a no-contest – a result that unsurprisingly did not go down well, both inside the Tsongas Center in Lowell, MA and on social media afterwards.

In response to the criticism, Darkstate’s Osiris Griffin took to Twitter to posted several messages directed at the fans – poking fun at the negative reaction.

In three separate tweets, Griffin wrote:

lots of grown men crying

oh they mad mad grown ass men crying over 2 kids fighting

Dudes with wives and kids losing sleep over some gymnastics

WWE NXT North American Champion Ethan Page was another star who seemingly took pleasure in the fans’ pain, posting laughing and clapping hands emojis in response to Griffin’s first post.
