A WWE star has opened up about John Cena’s impact on his career, saying that the 17-time world champion “taught him the most”.
One of the more unsung top rivalries of John Cena’s WWE career was with The Miz, with Cena being among the A-Lister’s first top feuds as a singles act in 2009 before ethyl picked up their feud again over the WWE Championship heading into a main event match at WrestleMania 27.
Speaking with San Francisco 49ers tight end George Kittle on Kittle Things, Miz spoke about the importance of the more experienced stars in WWE on his career, praising Cena in particular:
“Cena taught me the most. He’s like you got to listen to the crowd, I’m like ‘I hear them, I hear them chanting you suck’. He was like ‘you’re not listening, you need to know what to do and when to do it’.
“There’s no one better at knowing how to get a crowd to do what you want to do whenever you want to do it than John Cena.”
