A WWE star has spoken out after being left out of an ongoing tournament to determine the inaugural champion of a new title.
Recently announced, the WWE Women’s Intercontinental Championship as well as the tournament to crown the inaugural champion.
However after the bracket was revealed and shared on Twitter by Triple H, one WWE star had a strong reaction.
Sonya Deville took to Twitter to post a video questioning why she wasn’t in the tournament.
You can see the entire clip below, which she said she cut because she didn’t want to “get in trouble”.
Deville’s Pure Fusion Collective stablemate Shayna Baszler was in the first three-way match to determine who would advance to the semi-finals.
Baszler would end up losing the match that also included Katana Chance and the winner, Dakota Kai.
Kai took the brunt of Deville’s ire in the video, making note that Dakota Kai had been out with injury four times in four years, wondering if that was really an accomplishment to be proud of.
After a user reacted, accusing Deville of “being injured or taking a break” herself, Sonya responded.
Deville wrote back:
“I never once have “taken a break” ever… are u referring to that one time a man broke into my house to try and kill me? Or the one injury I had in my ten year career.. I’ll wait👂”
While Deville is not in the tournament, the third member of Pure Fusion Collective, Zoey Stark, is also in an upcoming three-way.
Stark will be taking on Raquel Rodriguez and Kayden Carter – the winner of which will face Dakota Kai in the semi-final round.
