WWE Star Mimics Triple H Entrance During Rare Appearance In Another Company WWE

A WWE star returned to an independent wrestling promotion for the first time six years at an event in Dublin, Ireland last night (March 22).

Stars from Raw, SmackDown and NXT making appearances for promotions outside of WWE has become a far more common occurrence in recent years, with the company even entering a multi-year partnership with TNA Wrestling in January.

One star who is set to make an appearance for another company during WrestleMania 41 week is Monday Night Raw’s Pete Dunne, who was announced this week to be heading to GCW for Josh Barnett’s Bloodsport XIII event on April 17.

An appearance that was not announced ahead of time was Dunne returning to Irish promotion Over The Top Wrestling, however, that is exactly what happened at their OTT Homecoming event in Dublin last night.

As can be seen below, Dunne made a surprise entrance to the delight of the OTT fans, going on to compete in a singles match with Sammy D, in which he won.

Dunne’s OTT return was his first in the promotion since March 2019, and he celebrated the occasion by performing Triple H’s trademark spit entrance alongside former WWE star Trent Seven and Sammy D.
