WWE Star Calls Out ‘Stupid Gimmick’ Given To ‘Talented’ Performer WWE

In response to a fan posting a clip from a 2009 match, WWE star MVP has recalled the height of the “dog house” days in the company.

Despite working as both a wrestler and manager since his return to the company, MVP has been absent from WWE television for most of 2023 and 2024.

As previously reported, the former United States Champion recently shared an update on a possible in-ring return after two years away.

This is MVP’s second stint with the company after returning in the 2020 Men’s Royal Rumble Match.

On June 5, MVP took to social media to quote tweet a fan who shared a clip from his first stint in WWE where he faced Kizarny on a January 2009 SmackDown. Praising his opponent and reflecting on his “dog house” days in the company, MVP wrote:

This dude was talented and saddled with a STUPID gimmick!!! Also, the height of my “dog house” days!

MVP is a former two-time United States Champion and a former WWE Tag Team Champion during his time in the promotion.
