WWE Star Name Change Officially Confirmed

WWE Star Name Change Officially Confirmed WWE

A name change for a WWE star is now officially confirmed following on from their recent character adjustment on TV.

A few weeks ago on Raw, Natalya turned heel by costing Maxxine Dupri her rematch for the WWE Women’s Intercontinental Championship against Becky Lynch.

Natalya then aggressively and continuously attacked Dupri post-match.

In the following weeks, videos aired on Raw confirming that Natalya had officially brought her Nattie persona onto mainline WWE TV.

Last year, Natalya wrestled matches outside of WWE for promotions like the NWA and GCW, where she wrestled under the name Nattie – a more aggressive side that we hadn’t seen her portray in WWE.

In the Royal Rumble just over a week ago, Natalya entered the match under the name Nattie and with brand new theme music that was designed to sound similar to Rage Against The Machine’s Killing In The Name, which is what she’d used for her non-WWE appearances.

Now, WWE’s official website roster page has been updated to officially list the former SmackDown Women’s Champion under the name Nattie instead of Natalya, signifying that this is a permanent change going forward.

Nattie is set for a match against Maxxine Dupri on tonight’s edition of Raw.
