A WWE star has revealed his philosophy when it comes to improving in the ring, saying he’s never fully satisfied with his matches.
Returning to WWE earlier this year was Rusev, who made his comeback on the Raw after WrestleMania in April.
Since then, he has feuded with Sheamus and more recently has been embroiled in the Intercontinental Championship picture with Dominik Mysterio and Penta.
Appearing on the Identity Crisis podcast, Rusev explained that never being completely happy with his matches allows him to focus on areas to improve each time.
He said:
“Even when I have a match and I have a fantastic match and I watch it back, I’ll be like, ‘Oh, I could have… this could have been this, this could have been this.’
“And I think what you do in movies is the same thing. It doesn’t matter what kind of masterpiece you put out there, you still feel like, ‘Oh, this could have been this, this could have been…’
“And that makes you better, I think, because next time, you know what to watch for. ‘Okay, last time, this could have been better, now I can apply it into this movie.’
“That’s how I look at things, and that’s how I’m never satisfied with the final product, I just want more and more and more and more.”
