A medical update on a fan favorite WWE star was announced on tonight’s Raw after a backstage attack on last week’s show.
Last week, Drew McIntyre made his return to Raw for his first appearance since Bad Blood, attacking Sami Zayn at the end of the show.
In a vignette segment tonight, Drew McIntyre revealed that as well as attacking Sami Zayn last week, it was him that attacked Jey earlier in the night.
Explaining why he did so, McIntyre referenced how he saw the OG Bloodline and CM Punk standing side-by-side with Roman Reigns at WWE Survivor Series.
McIntyre said “at least CM Punk took a bribe”, whereas Zayn and The Usos “sold out for absolutely nothing”.
In a subsequent update from announcer Joe Tessitore, it was revealed that Jey Uso isn’t medically cleared as a result of McIntyre’s attack.
It was later announced that a match between Drew McIntyre and Sami Zayn will take place at WWE Saturday Night’s Main Event on December 14.
