Shortly before WWE Raw went on the air, a change to the previously announced card due to a star not being ‘medically cleared’ occurred.

In an online exclusive clip, Adam Pearce was seen in a backstage segment informing New Day (Kofi Kingston and Xavier Woods) that Erik of the Viking Raiders were not cleared to compete.

As decided via a friendly game of rock, paper, scissors it would end up being Kofi Kingston who would win the game and the match.

Instead of New Day facing Viking Raiders, it will be Kofi Kingston taking on Ivar.

Elsewhere set for tonight’s show, an open challenge for Becky Lynch’s NXT Women’s Championship after having won the title in her match against Tiffany Stratton last week on the Tuesday night show.

In the opening match of the show, Cody Rhodes defeated Dominik Mysterio.
