A WWE star has officially been welcomed into a faction to replace a former member who has left the company.
A few weeks ago, Fatal Influence member Jazmyn Nyx was attacked backstage as a way to write her off TV ahead of her WWE departure.
She had made the decision to leave the company due to not being happy with the pay she’d been offered to re-sign.
Since then, it has emerged that it was Lainey Reid who attacked Nyx, and Reid then helped Jacy Jayne retain the NXT Women’s Championship against Lola Vice at No Mercy as well.
As of tonight’s WWE NXT, Lainey Reid is officially the newest member of Fatal Influence, as Jacy Jayne and Fallon Henley welcomed her in a video promo on tonight’s show.
Jayne is set to defend the NXT Women’s Championship against the winner of a battle royal that will take place later on tonight’s show.
After this show was pre-taped in advance last week, Jayne actually suffered an injury during a live event this past weekend, so we’ll keep you posted if there any updates on her status.
