A former champion has confirmed that they are now officially no longer under WWE contract heading into 2025.
In early November, Baron Corbin, real name Tom Pestock, announced that his 12-year stint with WWE had come to an end, with the company opting not to extend his contract.
Now, in a post on Twitter, Corbin has officially confirmed that he is no longer under contract with WWE.
As Corbin details in his post, he is now officially free to pursue other opportunities right away, given that he was not fired from WWE but instead told that his deal was not being extended.
Corbin wrote:
I’m officially no longer under contract since i was not fired.
I was told they were not extending.
So if you’re making a horror movie, let me know ha ha ha ha
New year, no contract, let’s see what we can create
It’s not yet clear where Corbin will land following his WWE exit, however, the former United States Champion was recently in the news after reportedly attending AEW Worlds End 2024 in Orlando, FL.
Another former WWE star in attendance at Worlds End recently re-signed with TNA Wrestling despite speculation regarding a potential move to Tony Khan’s company – click here for full details.
We will continue to provide updates on Baron Corbin’s future as/when new information becomes available.
