WWE Star ‘Looking Forward’ To On-Screen Partnership With Father

A WWE star is “looking forward” to an on-screen partnership with their father following their first meeting on TV.

At the TNA Victory Road pay-per-view, NXT’s Arianna Grace continued her role as the NXT/TNA Liaison, but ran into a very familiar face backstage – that being none other than her father, former WWE star Santino Marella.

Marella has served as the Director of Authority on TNA TV since January 2023, and now looks set to strike up a partnership with his daughter.

In the segment, which you can view down below, Marella gave Grace a warm greeting and spoke of how proud he was of her. Grace was less receptive, being visually uncomfortable and insisting the two keep their relationship professional.

Despite this, Grace would take to Twitter after the show to comment on the reunion with her father, saying she “looks forward” to working with him in the future.

Grace wrote:

As Miss NXT and the new liaison of NXTNA, I must say that I do look forward to working with you Mr. Marella 

Elsewhere on TNA Victory Road, there were differing fortunes for many of the recurring TNA characters on WWE NXT TV.

Zachary Wentz lost his X-Division Championship in his very first defence against ‘Speedball’ Mike Bailey, while Joe Hendry and Jordynne Grace would both pick up big wins against Josh Alexander and NXT’s Wendy Choo respectively.
