Top WWE Star Opens Up On Relationship With The Rock

A top WWE star has opened up on his relationship with The Rock following his alliance with John Cena ahead of WrestleMania 41.

John Cena turned heel back at the Elimination Chamber event, with him selling his soul to The Rock and laying out WWE Champion Cody Rhodes alongside Rock and Travis Scott.

Ahead of the show, Rock had told Cody Rhodes that he wanted his soul, and for Cody to be his champion heading into WrestleMania, which led to speculation about who could eventually become Rock’s champion.

One of the names speculated to be Rock’s champion was Drew McIntyre, who was one of six men taking part in the Elimination Chamber match, and Drew has now addressed his relationship with The Rock.

Speaking to the Daily Star, Drew was asked about him teasing that there was more things on the horizon between he and Rock.

He said:

I absolutely can not tell you any information on that, but what I can tell you is one of the narratives I see online is that people don’t pay close attention to the stories. Why is Drew always talking about The Rock? I thought he hated the Bloodline? No, I hate people that wronged me personally. If somebody wronged me, I have an issue with them, just like anybody in real life.

The Rock has actively looked out for me my whole career since I was a kid. Himself and his business partner ex-wife Danny have always said such positive things to me. He put me over in a TMZ interview when I wasn’t doing anything in particular that justified him saying I was going to be the next big star when I re-signed with the company.

You know, he’d sent the sword, sent me some really nice words that I’ll never reveal to the world. We got a chance to catch up at the Chamber. We had a really good talk and there are some things on the horizon, some big things in the world. We’ll see when it’s time.
