WWE Star Reveals Personal Meaning Behind Upcoming Match

A WWE star has revealed the personal meaning behind an upcoming match at the next premium live event in Las Vegas.

While they may be future foes, one WWE star took to social media to note that there is a deeper personal significance rooted in respect to the match.

While he may be masked man Axiom now, he was formerly known as A-Kid and has a longer history in professional wrestling than some fans may know.

First spending on first the independent circuit for numerous years before being signed to WWE NXT UK in 2019, Axiom is in fact no rookie.

Taking to Twitter to describe the personal meaning of the upcoming match against Luke Gallows and Karl Anderson, Axiom said:

“2013 I had just started my journey in pro wrestling. I was in Madrid watching how The O.C. revolutionised the whole industry.

“This will be more than a title defence. Ten years later, we prove ourselves against the best.

“No pasarán!”

The two tag teams are set to tangle in Las Vegas for the NXT Tag Team Championship at the next premium live event.

NXT Battleground is set for Las Vegas on June 9, 2024 from the UFC Apex arena and is set to feature several other championship bouts.

Notably, Roxanne Perez will put her NXT Women’s Championship on the line against TNA Wrestling Knockouts Champion, Jordynne Grace.
