WWE Star Has Plan To Take Gunther’s Intercontinental Championship WWE

Gunther has reigned as the WWE Intercontinental Champion for almost a full year now, capturing the title from Ricochet back in June 2022.

As time has gone on, it has become difficult to predict who could ultimately be the one to topple the Ring General as he marches on his quest to make history with the title.

Gunther and Imperium now reign as some of the top stars on Raw, alongside the Judgment Day, but what would happen if the two groups collided?

Dominik Mysterio spoke to G Moniy, where he discussed what his goals are for the future.

Dominik said that he is hoping to secure some titles in the future, whether it be singles or tag team gold.

He said:

“I would love to hold some titles, whether it’s singles gold or tag team gold. Finn [Balor] and Damian [Priest] just beat the Undisputed Tag Team Champions in Sami Zayn and Kevin Owens, so there’s definitely a shot there.”

With Balor and Priest potentially targeting the Tag Team Championship, that would leave Gunther and the Intercontinental Championship for Dominik.

When talking about Gunther, Dominik admitted that he probably couldn’t beat him one on one, but would have a plan to take the title in a sneaky way,

He said:

“I don’t know if I could take him one on one, but if we can get a triple threat match going… somewhere where I can sneak into victory… Maybe. I don’t know. Who knows what the future has in store for ex-con Dom, but we’ll see.”
