WWE Star Heaps Praise On Jacob Fatu, Thinks He Has ‘Same Energy’ As Former World Champion WWE

A WWE star has heaped praise on Jacob Fatu, comparing his “energy” with that of a popular former world champion.

Since debuting on WWE TV in June 2024, Jacob Fatu has fast become one of the company’s most popular and promising stars, with reigns as both United States Champion and WWE Tag Team Champion under his belt within his first year in the company.

While he’s currently off WWE TV, Fatu’s fellow SmackDown star The Miz has took the opportunity to praise the “Samoan Werewolf” whilst appearing on the No-Contest Wrestling podcast with O’Shea Jackson Jr. and TJ Jefferson.

Comparing Fatu to his cousin “Main Event” Jey Uso, Miz spoke of his excitement at what he’s going to do next in WWE:

“Jacob, the world is his oyster. I think he has all the talent to become whatever he wants to be in this business.

“I watch and I see the little intricacies, the little things, the connection with the audience that they all have. You watch Jey come out there, the entire arena is erupting, they feel that energy that they have.

“And I think Jacob has that same energy – when he’s in the ring, I wanna see what he’s going to do next.”

Fatu’s last match on WWE TV came over a month ago, when he teamed with Jimmy Uso and Sami Zayn to take on MFT (Solo Sikoa, JC Mateo & Tonga Loa).

Despite being off TV, Fatu has continued to compete at WWE live events and in dark matches on SmackDown, with his most recent bout being a win over Rusev on September 12.
